Navigation and Keyboard Shortcuts

Fast navigation in dVersum with keyboard shortcuts, customizable sidebar, and the command palette.

dVersum is optimized for fast navigation. With keyboard shortcuts and the command palette, you can reach any feature in seconds.

The sidebar on the left is your main navigation:

Main Sections

Section	Description
Dashboard	Overview and quick actions
Projects	All your projects and tasks
Time	Time tracking and reports
Team Planning	Absence overview
Calendar	Appointments and deadlines
Tools	Useful mini-apps and calculators
Pages	Notes and documentation
Whiteboards	Collaborative drawing canvases
Clients	Client management
Archive	Archived projects and tasks
Support	Help and support tickets
Finance	Financial overview and invoices (Admin)

You can customize the sidebar individually:

Pin/Unpin items:

Pinned items appear directly in the sidebar
Unpinned items can be found in the "More" menu (...)

Hide items:

Items you don't need can be completely hidden
Hidden items can be restored at any time

Change order:

Drag and drop items into the desired order

Reset:

Via the "More" menu you can reset the sidebar to default settings

Favorites

Mark frequently used projects as favorites. They will then appear at the top of the sidebar for quick access.

How to add favorites:

Right-click on a project
Select Add to Favorites

My Projects

Under "My Projects" you can see all your areas and the projects within them. Areas can be expanded and collapsed.

The Command Palette (Cmd+K)

The command palette is the fastest way to anything in dVersum.

Open

Mac: Cmd+K (Command + K)
Windows: Ctrl + K

Features

The command palette enables:

Action	Description
Search	Find projects, tasks, clients, invoices
Create	New projects, tasks, clients, quotes, invoices
Navigate	Quickly switch to any section

Commands

Type a command and press Enter:

new task - Create new task
new project - Create new project
new client - Create new client
new invoice - Create new invoice
go dashboard - Navigate to dashboard

Search

Just type to search:

Project names
Task titles
Client names
Invoice numbers

Keyboard Shortcuts

Cmd+N	New task (when in project)
Cmd+S	Save
Esc	Close dialog/modal

In the Kanban Board

Shortcut	Action
N	New task in current column
E	Edit task
Delete	Delete task (with confirmation)
Left/Right	Navigate between columns
Up/Down	Navigate between tasks

In Lists

Shortcut	Action
J	Next item
K	Previous item
Enter	Open item

Click on your profile picture in the top right for:

Profile: Your personal settings
Organization: Company settings
Team: Manage team members
Theme: Switch Light/Dark/System
Language: Switch German/English
Log Out: End session

On mobile devices:

Tap the menu icon to open the sidebar
Swipe from the left to open the sidebar
The command palette is also available on mobile

dVersum Tip

Learn Cmd+K first - the command palette is the fastest way to anything in dVersum. After a week, you won't want to work without it.
