Mentioning Vero in comments

Type @vero in a task comment and Vero answers right there in the thread, with the task context already loaded. It can create invoices, pages or subtasks while it's at it.

Mentioning Vero in comments

You don't need to open the Vero chat to ask something about a task. Write @vero in a comment and Vero replies in the same thread, with the task context already in mind.

This works anywhere you write task comments: the task modal, the kanban board and the list view.

How it works

  1. Open a task and click into the comment box.
  2. Click Ask Vero below the box, or type @ and pick Vero from the list.
  3. Write your question after it and post the comment.

Vero replies as its own comment in the thread, visible to everyone on the project. While it works, you'll see "Vero is thinking…".

What Vero already knows

Vero automatically receives the task: title, description, status, due date, assignee and the comment history so far. You don't have to restate the context.

A few examples that work without further explanation:

What you writeWhat happens
@vero summarise where this standsA summary of the thread as a reply
@vero turn this into subtasksVero creates the subtasks and links them
@vero draft a reply to the client in GermanA draft in the thread
@vero how many hours are booked here?Vero reads the task's time entries
@vero create an invoice for the tracked timeAn invoice draft, linked in the reply

Results you can click

When Vero creates something — a page, a subtask, a whiteboard, an invoice or a quote — it appears as a link right under the reply. One click takes you there, no searching.

Language

Vero replies in the language you asked in. Write the comment in English and the answer comes back in English.

Also in Pages

The same thing works in the page editor: type @vero mid-text and Vero continues writing at the cursor. Handy for drafts, summaries and outlines.

If nothing happens

Vero only replies when an AI key is configured. If it's missing, Vero posts a short hint instead of an answer. Set it up under Settings → AI, either with your workspace's system key or your own (BYOK).

Vero mentions count towards your assistant quota like any other request.
