Vero's tools & capabilities
Vero is the AI assistant inside dVersum. It doesn't just reply — it can act. Over 70 tools are at its disposal, each with clearly defined permissions and auditing.
What Vero can do
Invoices, quotes, reminders

How to talk to Vero
In the web app
- Cmd+J opens the floating Vero chat from anywhere.
- Directly: Sidebar → Vero.
- On Pages: type
@veromid-text — Vero answers inline.
Via Telegram
Pair your Telegram account once (Settings → Telegram → 6-digit pairing code). After that you can reach Vero straight from a Telegram chat.
Via MCP (Claude Desktop, Cursor, etc.)
dVersum offers an MCP server (Settings → MCP). Once you connect it in your AI client, Claude or Cursor can also use every Vero tool.
Security & permissions
- Vero acts on your behalf with your permissions. A member cannot have admin actions executed.
- Every action ends up in the audit log and the org's activity feed.
- For destructive actions (delete, archive, send reminder) Vero asks for confirmation.
BYOK & model choice
In Settings → AI you configure:
- API key (Bring Your Own Key): OpenAI or Anthropic Claude — your own key, stored AES-256-GCM-encrypted.
- Model: e.g.
gpt-4o,gpt-4-turbo,claude-opus-4. - Personality: custom name, 5 response styles, free-text instructions.
- Core principles: rules Vero follows in every conversation.
Without BYOK, Vero falls back to the system key (request count capped per plan).
dVersum tip
Feel free to give Vero multi-step instructions — e.g.:
"Look at the team's activity this week, summarise the key points, and add a new heading on the 'Weekly Report' page with today's date and the points as a list."
Vero chains the tools itself and returns the summary at the end.
